OK ranking points boffins.  How far does Harry W need to get this week to make the Top 500.

Asking for a friend wink

10 ranking points would probably do it

And Dan Little is trying hard !

(and Loffers, of course)

Re the top 500, with us having 17 currently in the top 500 and 4 contenders through to R2 here we could certainly close in on 20 in the top 500 this week.

Dan Little is the one contender in the top half. The title and 25 points would take him to 82 points - enough.

Harry Wendelken, George Loffhagen and Mark Whitehouse are all in the bottom quarter and George meets Mark in R2. However, all 3 appear to need to reach the final. RU and 16 points would take Harry to 81 points, George to 80, and Mark to 77 - so probably enough for any one of them. However, given 2 of them won't reach the SF ( and even just the 8 points for that ) we are stuffed for any possibility of reaching 20 this week.

But still, contenders go! 19 is nearly 20!

In the battle of Brits, Dan Little has a win over Giles H to his record in 2022 and , on form, I fancy him to win this time as well.

Mark Whitehouse and George Loffhagen trade two very tight matches in 2022, and this could be another tight match.

10 Brits in last 16 and quite an exciting line up
