While the other top 500 contenders have fallen by the wayside this week, George moves up to 72 points and is a SF win away from the top 500.

 Giles?

Yes, probably worth confirming Giles' position for completeness.

He was already going to move into the top 500 on Monday following his SF last week giving us 17 Brits in the top 500. This latest SF will strengthen him further and take him to 84 points on 22/05.

A SF win for George ( so far up to 72 points ) would take him to 80 points on 22/05 and so then 18 on 80 points or more, which would certainly be enough for top 500.

A SF win for Grorge would take him to 80 points and then 18 Brits in the top 500.

Been on the sauce, Indy, or are you going to plead "fat fingers"?  wink

THat's my boy !

Mind you, George has a habit of going a bit AWOL

I wouldn't expect the second set to be anywhere like as easy

George lost 3-6 3-6 to Jules when they played at Bath earlier this year

And 2-6 3-6 when they played at Nottingham in the first 25k event there

So it's not looking good on paper

BUT third time lucky and all that
