Well done to Joe and Rajeev - slight signs of a return to some sort of form?

just spotted this - and the downside of singles players in the doubles draw as Rublev is still in singles and prioritises that; which is fine, but it takes away from the doubles. Not sure the answer, maybe there is a need to allow singles players in the doubles draw but somehow limit the number of players in an event or penalise those who pull out, not with fines but with no more doubles entries for a period of time?

Anyway, good news is Jamie, Joe and Neal are all in the last 8 which is good to see in this dispiriting clay season!

kiss of death for Jamie and Michael, as they lose. Not quite living up to my predictions, unless they have a big French Open.

Oh well

Well done Neal and Wes - and up to second in the race with top spot not far off. Seem to be building some form as well

Up to tonights semi, the 4 top Brits in the masters and slam events so far this season (5 masters and 1 slam) have won:

Neal - 14 matches
Lloyd - 9
Jamie - 7
Joe - 5

Neal clearly the top Brit still and routinely gets farthest. Joe having the worst time this season.
