The Italian WC eventually subdued the Monégasque in three (7-4 in the tie-break), so

SF:  (WC) Giorgio Tabacco (ITA) WR 602 (CH = 599 last October) vs Jay Clarke WR 518

Could we be heading for an all-Brit final?

At least the first match lasted for "only" an hour & 39 minutes...  His match will be followed by Jay's.

What is happening. Kyle was *2-3 on serve. I went to make sandwich and now the match is over. Someone has retired, but I don't know who.

There were a couple of returns in the last game where I was thinking - need to be more proactive there Kedders. Now I understand why he wasn't. Just hope it is precautionary and nothing serious.

OK folks. Minor twinge in the wrist. Nothing serious. It was just a precautionary retirement. Player and coach happy with the matches he got under his belt this week. No major alarm.
