Im watching Norrie and Im really not a fan of him shouting Come on and even Vamos every time Baez hits an error. Ive not really noticed him doing it this much is it a new thing for him? Maybe hes not very confident in his game atm and so is trying to psyche his opponent out? Either way, annoying

It is what Djokovic complained about also and wasnt impressed by it.

If it annoys Fakervic then I'm all for it. VAMOS!!!

Jack went a break up in the first half of the second set, but just couldn't hang on.

hope it is just fatigue and , to be honest, who would blame him; first event back and Cerundolo is a strong clay courter.

Down to Cam to equalise the Davis Cup tie v Argentina then

Hmm, 2 hours 29 minutes in the end and looking spent before the 2 hour mark. If fatigue, good luck if he goes 5 sets in RG.

First event back or not, endurance certainly continues to be something he has to work on ( there should surely be more core endurance even if out ), as he has acknowledged himself in the past.

Mikael Ymer getting disqualified, when playing Arthur Fils, for having absolutley whacked his racket against the umpire's chair, is really not the Swedish guy's finest moment.... :::(((

(Sorry -I put this in the wrong thread but not much else going on in this thread now so not much point moving it)

It would not have been possible to move a single quote into this thread, but it's arguably worth reproducing CD's post in here, as Fils (WC) has now been handed a walkover into the semis by FAA (WC/1) & will play Brandon Nakashima (8).

Jack's match is about to start.
I have, unexpectedly, access to Amazon Prime this week, and was looking forward to seeing this match, but it has now disappeared from their schedule cry

I was simarly disappointed,  but I think they never screened the second court, only the main one. So Jack' s winning match was never available.
