Great to see George picking up wins. His potential is starting to come together.

Yes. From how I look at it, too, George has only been playing again since late last August

So he's only got 9 months of results

So, making it up to a full year, his 89 points should be 118

Which means his actual ranking at the moment is about 380

And that's just what it is now

Not what it will be as he's finding form again, and playing better, etc etc

The base today is 380 and it should go up

SF:  (8) Carlos Sánchez (ESP) WR 428 (CH = 356 in March) vs George Loffhagen WR 460

The Spaniard beat the third seed, Fomin, in three sets.

Very efficient progress by George so far against some decently ranked players, and interesting summary from CD.

With his rise, and general form, and unfortunately others' falls, I could see him being in the GB top 10 by year end, and hopefully at least getting close to the top 300.

Go George !

George showing some decent form right now. Think when I looked the other day of his 89 points only 11 are coming off this calendar year. If he can therefore match this years points in the second half of the year then he shouldnt be far off the top 300.

 I know biggrin

In my '9 months factored up to 12 months' calculation, I did think there was some argument for doing 6 months up to 12 (as he obviously took a few months to get going, being understandably rusty).

And then I thought what about just using the last 3 months?

But I thought I was maybe pushing it a bit biggrin

So I'll stick with the 119 points.

But absolutely believe that it is 'falsely low' - you would have to be a buyer at 119 points - it would just be standing still (and standing still on the whole year, not just standing still on the good bits like now) - and he's not standing still smile
