And young Zach bags yet another WC, for all the good it will do him!

L32:  (1) Valentin Royer (FRA) WR 301 (CH = 267 last month) vs (WC) Zach Stephens WR 2008 (CH = 1862 last month)

There's something 'strange' about the number of wildcards Zach is getting

He's at (or used to be at?) the BTT Academy (Barcelona), so maybe a Spanish one makes sense but there's been SO many recently.... hmmm....

Zach's other claim to fame is that he played the 1st Dubai Police Men's 20K Championship in 2022

That's got quite a title

He made the QFs

Yes, echoes of new forum legend Elbert Barr and his mysterious ability to conjure up wildcards. Good luck to Zach anyhow.

It's certainly surprising how many he's getting and yes he gets beat all the time.... But he must have "some" ability to take 4 gamess off the top seed, so better than Robert Dee at least.
