Apparently it's only the second time ever there have been four GB women in the quarter finals. What a shame Harriet couldn't get over the line. It would have been amazing to have a guaranteed finalist.
A further fun fact for any fellow stattos, we've only had three women finalists: Heather, Anne Keothavong and Louise Latimer (who was the only winner.

Only watched the matches on livestream but Harriet, Harriet, Harriet...... although actually she did miles better than I'd been expecting so maybe that's good in a way....
Sonay has a tendency to go into herself when things don't go quite right. It is an issue. But, again, she would never have expected to be so close to a win on grass, so maybe not so bad. And well done to Katie B for seeing it out and for going for her shots.
Obviously Isa got lucky. And Katie S, although less so - she was in the lead, after all, and playing pretty well.
Yes its tricky; i feel disappointed For Harriet, but I also think she performed excellently overall and it was much closer than I was expecting. I hope thats her overwhelming feeling moving into Nottingham

ITF "Live" Surbiton tournament webpage showing the Centre court matches for Friday (Day 5) are Swan vs. Maria (11am start), and Boulter vs. Golubic to follow. Court 1 has Lacy vs. Miyazaki (11am start).
Dont suppose anyone has a spare ticket for tomorrow? Website suggests centre court sold out and only wheelchair users for ground passes
All centre court tickets have been sold out for a couple of months. I have never had an issue before, I dont know what was done differently this year?
I suspect that the publicity has been better this year. And people anticipated that Andy and Dan (and possibly others) would play - boosting demand considerably. I was a bit surprised when the ground passes sold out quiet quickly though, but I think they could safely increase the numbers by a few hundred.
