George lost 5-7 6-4 6-3

Probably a fair score overall

But he put up a very good show, against a top-100 very solid player

QF:  (5) Dominik Köpfer (GER) WR 95 defeated (WC) George Loffhagen WR 414 by 7-5 4-6 6-3  hmm

Still an excellent week for him.

Very creditable week for Loffers. Think those talking about potential top 50 are jumping the gun a little but excited to see his grass court season and beyond.

Good effort there from George and shows real progress with his game. Hopefully not long before he is playing the challenger tour every week at the higher level. Top 200 at least for George.

Definitely a good week for him and hope to see him at Ilkley if he gets a wild card next week?

I loved that match too - I was multi-tasking with Hev's too

And the boys played a super tiebreak - really put it out there

Just brilliant !

Just watched Andy - that match showed why grass is so much better than clay as a surface; so much improvisation from Andy and Stricker, Andy was in and out but some real class, played a left handed half volley from the baseline, he enjoyed that one.

Looked a really excellent match and Andy is doing well - yes, the quality of opponent steps up next week, but he is doing well!
