It doesn't really matter but I note that Harry Wendelken so nearly beat/should have beaten/practically beat Michelson - who then was taken to three by Mark - and has now beaten the 4th seed in the MD

Equally, Stuart Parker was 5-3 up in the third-set TB against Shang (having served for it?), and Shang has now beaten the 2nd seed

And Dan Cox took Cazaux to a third set tie-break, and now Cazaux has won his R1 match too

And just to our Scottish brethren on this site - well done, lads !

Jacob and Connor are two of Scotland's finest

Connor got his doubles ranking back this week, practically immediately in the top-1000 after Surbiton

And Jake should get his back now too

(And well done to JoMo and Toby too, of course)

The trouble I had finding Liam Broady's match on TV, the Mrs just found it on a BBC sport App after I'd given up, but when I do finally manage to tune in Liam looks up against it.

Bad news for Liam but at least the broadcast is going on straight into the Arthur Fery match.

Arthur just tried to overplay a tad at the beginning of that set, in my opinion. Not blaming him, you want to start strong, you know you were hitting your spots yesterday, but it just gave the German a little too much time to settle in.
THe second half was little more in control but Dominik was now playing some excellent tennis
K broke, Arthur broke back, K broke again and won the first set 6-4
Into the second....

The commentary is bloody awful, looks like the German has a little too much for Arthur so far.
