I disagree, the first was close but quite likely correct, the 2nd seemed very much over the line to me.  I thought Toby took it quite well considering it took him to double match point down

Bah

So possible 20 in the top 500 attention switches to Harry's R1 match scheduled for tomorrow.

Now a win for Harry would guarantee him a top 500 place in next Monday's rankings.

What would also have to happen is for Giles Hussey, currently live ranked 497 on 75 points, to stick in the top 500. Harry winning would in itself drop Giles to live 498 and there appear to be enough other relevant players still in actin who could edge him out, though the odds are probably that he would just manage to stick in there.

Is this only me seeing Charles Broom being a favourite against Brancaccio? He is a solid clay counter but fast surfaces isn't his strong side so Charlie has his big chance here I think IMHO

For those of you interested, you can find my daily summaries (with photos) on The Yorkshire Times. The Day 3 summary (yesterday's) is just here: www.yorkshiretimes.co.uk/article/Ilkley-Trophy--Day-3-Summary

Great, Brad!

The new OoP has Harry W's match moved inside

Which is a bit of a downer for Bob......

Can't believe it's going to help Harry's chances

That was great Brad, please keep posting

(It was of course Toby Samuel that lost to Bolt, not Toby Martin!)

Yep. A message through from the media group on WhatsApp suggesting that there will be no play outside until at least 4pm. I'm not going to bother going in until this evening as we can't get inside for the indoor matches!

I was expecting Harry to lose 6-2 6-3, approx

And when the first set went 6-2, and he was down in the second, I though, well done, CD......

But Harry staged an amazing comeback - broke and served for the second set at 6-5, got broken back, but won the TB easily

And now on serve in the third - allez, Harry !

All of the remaining first round matches in the Men's draw have been moved indoors now. I'm hoping that Charles Broom, who is scheduled for this evening, may be able to get going outside, and my son and I can go a watch him again!
