Also interesting that the live scores lists the courts as Southlands rather than Roehampton. So maybe not in Roehampton but at Southlands which is just off the main site of Wimbledon.

Is that the same as Aorangi park?

And Southlands is grass presumably?

Meanwhile, Henry S has taken the first set of Harry

And Stuart is a break down in the first set, to Josh

Although, more to plan, both Ben Jones and Mark W have taken their respective first sets

Think Aorangi is just the main site. It's just north of there. goo.gl/maps/GkFDELgVmVGk2gfY7

They've been infiltrated by spies before. Got to keep people guessing

Order is being restored. although not without some difficulty, as Harry wins in three, Stuart wins in three, Mark W wins in three, and Ben wins in two

I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Ryan Storrie and would love to see him come through.

Tiebreaks galore at the moment - last sets in all four active matches just had one.

Millen is a set and break up on Will Jansen, Patrick Brady leading by a set and a break on Dan little. Hussey took the first set TB over Storrie and it's on set. Top seed Dan Cox having a very close match vs Fearnley, and it's 3-3 in the final set.

... which goes Giles' way, so he wins by 7-6(7) 7-6(5).

So Round 2 is looking like:

Daniel Cox vs Patrick Brady
Winner Plays winner of
Millen Hurrion vs Giles Hussey

Stuart Parker vs Mark Whitehouse
Winner Plays winner of
Ben Jones vs Harry Wendelken

So, basically, the better ranked players all won (except Dan Little). But it was mighty close....

Sorry, just read it and it seems it is the NTC

From the LTA site:

Taking place from Thursday 22 June to Friday 23 June the Play Offs will be hosted at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton.

But if you consult the official LTA fact sheet, https://www.lta.org.uk/495ee1/siteassets/pro-players/lta-wimbledon-wild-card-play-offs-fact-sheet-2023.pdf  then it says Aorangi.

It's just totally inconsistent.  Good thing I'm not spectating this year or I'd be totally confused.  I think the fact sheet is the official pdf for players and that it is at Aorangi.

Harry is the first to take a set

6-2 against Ben

Really want Harry to come through - he's been the revelation to me this summer - the one who has really surprised
