What a lot of hate!  It cant make you happy.

No evidence of hate in what Ive said. Valid points if anything and praise for Isa.

Not hate, just unawarranted bile!

Not bile either Stircrazy. There seems to be a tackle the man not the ball going on here today.

Very confused how praising a presenter can be construed as bile.

You know perfectly well I was referring to what you said about Tim Herman and the debenture holders rather than Isa.

Same applies to my response.

Fair play to Arthur Féry (I just watched the highlights) the lad gave it his best shot.

He did indeed and was liking his net charges as well he certainly got in about Medvedev. Was never going to win today but an impressive effort.

Yes. A decent score. A decent performance. He looked at ease, put his tennis out there, can't look back with huge regrets

Yes but its not hate Katharine. I dont hate anyone, you need to have some rational in your argument. Just because you dont like it (maybe through association maybe not) doesnt make it hate. Tim Henman has a lot to answer for and has in similar years. He doesnt get off just because of who he is. Maybe you accept treating people differently but I dont.  He was clearly annoyed by the comments and maybe expects an easy time.

Meanwhile still 1st round matches waiting to be started.

Arthur was outclassed by the third seed, but he played some canny stuff & by no means disgraced himself on the big stage.  Seems a nice lad, too, judging by the very brief interview before the match started.  He'll also have had a flavour of how it feels to be a Brit at Wimbledon.  wink   Lasted a bit longer than Ryan, too...

L128:  (6) Holger Rune (DEN) WR 6 defeated (WC) George Loffhagen WR 371 by 7-6(4) 6-3 6-2

The results for George and Arthur were foregone conclusions, but they can both take enormous credit for their performances.

Thiem v Tsitsipas is a great watch just now. Think Andy will have a very tough time tomorrow regardless of who he plays. Both with great touch and length just now.

Loffhagen, Fery and Peniston all with really rough draws.

I'll be optimistic and go with 4 wins, Andy, Cam, Dan and Liam.

4 it is and you got 3 out of the 4

And as you say, considering the Loffhagen, Fery ( both who made a very decent impression ) and Peniston ( although irrelevant to our total in his case ) draws, pretty good overall.

Which just leaves Dan as not the man on this occasion.

Would be better for Andy if Thiem wins this.

What I saw of Tsitsipas' match against Thiem was an absolute cracker.

Tsitsipas it is however. Andy will need to play his A game tomorrow. Any less then I can see Tsitsipas winning. He was very impressive there as was Thiem. Great match to watch, maybe one of the best so far. There hasnt really been many classics in the first 3 days.

Everytime I look at him however I see Russell Brand. Anyone else?

I think Andy would have had a better chance against Thiem, but hopefully the extra day's rest will give him a slight advantage.

From the point of view of Tsitsipas - one for the statisticians here - I wonder how many times a seeded player has had to play a GS winner in R1 and another GS winner in R2.

First arguable upset of the tournament:  Seb Korda (22) beaten in four sets by Jiri Vesely.
