Seriously!!!
I got paid well and I still quit because of the nights. There isn't enough money to induce me to do it again. In the Summer you're trying to sleep while it's hot and everyone else is going about their noisy business. Lawns being mowed, kids out playing, building work being carried out.

Come to Spain Emmsie. Everyone 'takes a siesta' during the day
From my family's experience, there's a big difference, though, emmsie between 'working nights' and having a couple of days where you finish at midnight or 1 am (taking the most extreme case)
We're only talking about the second here, which I think is perfectly fine. Not the first which definitely messes up your life.
As I'm sure most of you know, the curfew on play is part of the licence for the event from Merton council. It's not going to change for the foreseeable future.
The story of the match so far as perceived by Stuart Fraser in today's Times. It makes the same point as the addict that the AELTC's decision to suspend play was dictated by the Merton Council requirement:
Play was called to a halt at 10.39pm with Murray leading 6-7 (3-7), 7-6 (7-2), 6-4 after two hours and 54 minutes of enthralling drama. While this match would have continued into the early hours at any other grand-slam tournament, the 11pm curfew imposed by Merton Council forced All England Club officials to call it off for the night after the third set. The players will return to Centre Court today at about 3pm to resume the battle.
Yes. And, as yesterday, we understand the council and the residents and the desire for quiet when it's late
But Wimbledon should negotiate with the council, that was the point
For a price, I'm sure the council would be interested in allowing a little flexibility. Everything pretty much has a price. And, again, it's only a couple of evenings.
Liam took the first set 6-4 after going a break down. Now he's a break down in set two. Can he turn it around again. Might be worth switching channels as Andy's game goes to a fifth set.
