You might be able to get Centre Court rebuys for the last match which would be well worth the effort.

Yes, I briefly considered trying that, but seeing how late matches have been running I don't think I will go for it. Two hours plus to get home afterwards and work for both of us the next day .........

I use this twitter account for Queue updates - it gives indications of time of arrival/queue card numbers and can help you predict what time to arrive:

I went on friday (SO hot) and arrived at 6.30am, and got in the grounds at 1pm, and was about 6100 in the queue.

Just to be clear, and sorry to sound dim, but you had a ticket, yes? You had to queue for 6.5 hours, even though you had a ticket?

I agree, CD, th mens court one matches are really interesting ones.

I do like court two though with Andreeva and then tsitsipas versus Eubanks and Conor and Toby

Sorry my mistake - I've missed something - I didn't have a ticket at all, was queuing for grounds passes, not the resale queue.

CD it took less than 15 mins to get in today (with ticket) including queing and bag search. Doesn't seem so crowded this year, but perhaps that is just lunchtime.
