Well. Once someone has done their time , I believe , personally, they should be free to try and get on with their lives. So I have no problem with them using him. Whether he is the best qualified or the best pundit is another issue altogether.

I have a huge problem with them using him

Of course he should be free to live his life now, without persecution for crimes he previously committed and has served his time for

But lack of persecution does not mean that people have to actively endorse that person.

I do not want to hear the opinions of a very recently convicted thief, cheat and fraudster.

I do not want to support a newspaper that chooses to give money to a very recently convicted thief, cheat and fraudster.

I think it's a question of principles. This was a man who had great gifts bestowed on him, but chose to deliberately abuse that position, risking the livelihoods of many innocent people, and showing utter disrespect for all judicial process.

All I can say, Gameover, is there is a general complaints page (which probably isn't appropriate) or just a general email

telegraphenquiries@telegraph.co.uk

(telegraph.co.uk/editorialcomplaints)

I guess that is the fabulous thing about our country , people can have different views and respect the views of others. I respect yours and Gameovers views and understand them even though I have a different opinion on this matter. We all come from different backgrounds, perspectives and contexts and those inform our views.

all the best

Thank you.  I used your link to make a complaint.  Too many people assume there are no victims of crimes such as his.

I read he used a private jet (funded by a friend) when he was deported back to Germany. This man will never be humble

Me neither. I get the page with all the options. And they're correctly labelled. But none of them load.

Blasted rain!  furious  I hope it doesn't interfere too much with Liam's momentum after he made such a good start (4-1, 40-30* after 22 minutes).
