Liam seems to be in control judging by the scores, is he playing well?

His service could do with a bit of improvement:  he was getting only about 50% of his first services in!

Lokoli (Q) or Ruud (4) in the next round, probably the latter.

L64:  (WC) Liam Broady WR 142 vs (4) Casper Ruud (NOR) WR 4 (CH = 2 last September)

A measly 45 ranking points for Broady compared with 70 for Burrage. The WTA are much more generous for early rounds compared with ATP. Same as a quarterfinal showing at the Surbiton Challenger.

45 points is better than nothing, which is what he got for reaching the 3rd round last year wink

Liam did what he had to do against an opponent who didn't really look up for it and made too many areas on big points

And follows that by taking the third by 6-2!
