Hope we get some action later?

I'm sure you'll get some action soon (on the rain front at least !)

Cant see there being any action on the outside courts for the rest of today. Will probably mean that most matches tomorrow are still round 1 matches.

I'm sorry but come on Ryan

Andy looked so slow at Surbiton.

His serve brought him through- it'll have to be working well today

It's hard not to root for Ryan but looks as though Andy's class is telling. AM serving for the first set at 5-2

Rooting for Andy here, Ryan is a decent lad but not going to do anything at Slams whereas Andy can still go deep.

Yes sadly for Ryan my above comment appears to be correct. Wouldnt like to see him thrashed here but a bagel coming up. Still a good payday for him to take back the the challengers to try and push back up the rankings. Sadly wont make US Open qualies.

Andy seems to have Ryan's number here. 6-3, 6-0.

Andy looks very fit and confident. Might seem strange to say but I think confidence in his ability and movement is the thing that holds Andy back from that extra gear needed to get back to the top 20. Hes striking the ball circa 2013 just now.

Is there any way to get the radio commentary on the tv instead of that buffoon Ca*toe does anybody know. He just wont shut up its insufferable.

I fully expected Andy to win that.  Sorry, I never thought I'd ever say this, but I'm with Jaggy here:  nice a lad as Ryan is & decent player though he is, he wouldn't have stood a ghost of a chance against Thiem or Tsitsipas (5) in the next round.  Andy at least has the experience, nous & guile to give it a good go, especially with the Centre or N° 1 Court crowd behind him.
