By the way, Giles Hussey has sneaked back into the live top 500 at #499 on 75 points, and a final here would take Felix onto 76 points.

So if that happened and no-one else came through we would have 20 in the top 500. Err, except there's a wee queue of guys playing this week that could come through.

So Felix beating Borg and continuing on to do his thing and none of them doing theirs does I am afraid seem very unlikely. But hey possible just for now

Odds on Felix making the final, getting into the Top 500 - and pushing Giles out in the process disbelief

Kyle will drop back out week after Wimbledon and Dan Cox will be in danger unless he can get some decent wins in the grass 25ks coming up. And Paul Jubb and Alistair Gray being injured are also in danger in the next month or two. Its unlikely to happen before September at least given the lack of potentials coming to replace them.

Yes so you have been calculating and saying in your desperate concern

But all of that would be immaterial to a certain contest if the above unlikely scenario played out and we had 20 in the top 500 in the immediate post Wimbledon 17/07 rankings.

And even then, none of the existing 18 are in danger of dropping out until 07/08 when Kyle could ( he will not drop out the week after Wimbledon because prior to 07/08 he only has 11 points dropping on 31/07, which would leave him then still on 92 points ). And 07/08 is after the points will be added for other tournaments, in particular the Nottingham and Roehampton M25s.

Very good from Felix

Re top 500, as pretty much expected Giles Hussey has slipped back out of the live top 500 to #503 so the theoretically possible for 17/07 is now impossible. It's coming though.

Not coming anytime soon however. Possibly by the end of the year and dependant on Ali Gray, Paul Jubb and Kyle Edmund playing. If they dont play and win it wont happen this year without them.

So not necessarily coming

Felix clearly lost all motivation once he knew he couldn't deliver Bob's 20 in the top 500

Pity.
