Given Cams ongoing injury problems, Evos lack of singles form, Andy obviously gone - interesting to see what squad we end up with in Manchester: doubles seems sorted, Jack clearly will be number one; Evo will presumably be in the squad as currently, but I wonder if Billy or Jake or Paul will get the nod for replacing Cam if not fit? These next few weeks could be important for those 3 (and Liam, who could come good, is a Manc lad as well, so you never know)
Looking at the teams in Manchester, we have quite a tough and interesting looking group.
The Canadians are always dangerous and talented but didnt do much as a group of players in New York; FAA could face Jack again and with Shapo, Raonic, Diallo and Pospisil they will be tough to beat.
Argentina - Etcheverry got to round 3 and doubles pair Gonzalez and Molteni reached the last 8. Baez and Cerundolo round out another talented and largely top 20 batch of players
Finland - Ruusuvuori is out but Virtanen did well in New York, qualifying and despatching Brits along the way before getting through a main draw round. Harri of course in doubles.
Britain will do well to get top 2 here, it wont be easy but it is doable IF Jack plays and the others back him up well.
Not sure Joe is a particularly surprise omission. I would have thought Henry was in the mix on form and then there is the always difficult aspect of trying to select the best looking pairing when our players don't regularly play together.

I agree Henry has the form, but with Joe in the original squad list released, it was a surprise to see him missing, Neal and Joe appeared the incumbent pairing. But glad to see Henry there, for sure.
I have a feeling Joe might be taking a bit of a break after US Open, did an Instagram post about abuse he's received which ended in "Time for a break", so that might have been one of the reasons?
I hadn't realised that there was an original list. But beyond that, wirh Henry's form there should be no place for "incumbent"s unless they are simply thought to be still the best pairing.
Though, yes there might be a fitness issue.

I think 9Vicman or someone posted it somewhere, it was after Wimbledon for sure, when Henry had just won. Cam, Jack, Evo, Neal and Joe. Cam and Joe replaced by Billy and Henry
