Crazy to think that it was only 2 months ago that I was nominating Luke for PoM for getting his 1st ever ranking point and now here we are with him in the SF of a 25k. I am guessing Madadman's research may explain why he didn't get a ranking point until the age of 24.

 Final now!

Oh, marvellous, that is a heck of a win for Luke!!

Those who work out rankings, that will presumably give him a decent boost when the points go on? ANd presumably an SE into the next event as well?

Up around 400 spaces to 850ish I think.

 Nice!

Just needs to win the final and follow up with the next 2 weeks' titles and he should be top 500.

Loffhagen v Added final pending, fairly certain on that.

They do it just to annoy, Jaggy biggrin

Only saw the first set but Luke wasn't half playing well - Dan looked more Addled than Added  - really couldn't believe how solid and aggressive luke was..

Someone showed him my post apparently. Trick worked credit to Jaggy

George will win the title then do well enough in the challengers as my good friend Seagull has revealed, and therefore be top 250

George was always going to be a clear favourite here. Is it indoors?

I watched a bit of the final and despite losing I thought Luke played really well. He's 24 so how come I've never heard of him?

George's 3rd M25 title of the year, following an Indian and Nottingham titles in April and May, will take him to a further new CH, provisionally about 340, and GB #8.

And nobody picked him in the predictions competition at all !

Mind you he was GB #32 and WR982 at the start of the competition on 26/12.
