Only 7 I think top 200 players in a 125 challenger means this could be a fruitful points yield for Dan this week. Has a chunk to defend in the next month so will need to get a few points to stay top 400 and push towards the 250 ranking for sayings sake..

Lexington has just 3 top 200 players, and Dan would also have comfortably got into Washington ATP500 qualies (and been seeded) and Los Cabos qualies.

Porto in fact is one of the stronger events Seriously, weak fields across the world this few weeks, since Wimbledon, and a good time to pick up points. Maybe some more of those in Roehampton could have got out here and elsewhere and made some decent progress?

Yes, but we can hardly blame the players for supporting their home event and keeping travel costs down
