Jack back to 86 live rankings and Liam at 97 live rankings. Liam could have 4 players come past him again but seems unlikely all will. Reckon he could be back top 100 again next week...

Re Liam, 4 players could move past him this week which I agree is unlikely.
Though one thing worth bearing in mind is that with the Shanghai Masters on the next rankings will not to be until 16/10 so next week's challengers will also count. Liam himself is down for Bratislava.

oh, right, no rankings next week, darn, that is a wait and a half!!
The standard of hitting in this match was exceptional. Does anyone have any knowledge re. the speed of the surface they are playing on? Both players had trouble finishing points, and I don't think many of us would say that JD is under powered. In the first set and a half, Jack's net game and drop shots were poor. Prizmic served for the second set at 5-3. This game lasted 23 minutes, but he eventually took the match into a decider.
I so wish that the ATP would stream these matches in higher res. The incremental cost would be trivial, and I already pay for Tennis TV which is the ATP's service for top level tournaments. I'd be happy to pay for better coverage of these second tier events provided there is no idiot commentary like there is on telly in the grass court season. Could we get Mike Cation over here for some European challengers? I so appreciated him sharing his conversations with players when Dan and Marcus were making huge efforts on the American Challenger circuit. Please no camera operators though! I don't want to see closeups of spectators etc etc
That is some win, a guy of Goffin's experience and pedigree!
So glad Arthur seems to have decided to go full time on the tour, and this shows it was the right decision. I've had a soft spot for him ever since his heartbreaking defeat by Griekspoor in the FQR at Wimbledon a few years ago and would love to see him do well.
