Lucas is ranked 282, he's 27 years old, he's never been any higher ranked than 282, he's not a mystery player hiding in the wings.....
He played well today but Jack was more dominant in the first set and just couldn't quite push home his advantage (his fault) and then gave up a bit after he'd lost the first set
I dont get too bothered about the man who beat the man type stuff , styles of play and form on the day can vary so much. At this level anyone from 1-200 can beat pretty much anyone else on their day and surface. Jacks trajectory is ok, as is Liams , and Jack is doing right to largely focus on indoor challengers over the autumn and get some more notches back on his ranking.
