9 in the live top 300. Not 10 in the top 250 but nice progress by Arthur and Billy.
Looking more likely than 20 in 500 if Aidan or George can get a few challenger wins
I reckon that there is more chance with Jay and / or Paul if they can get and stay fit. Kyle maybe too given his retirement this week was apparently heat related rather than injury.
Though of course any real progress with these 3 means first adding to the top 500 contingent.
Doesn't really matter but I don't buy off on the argument that Poullain beat X who beat Y who beat Z
Lucas is ranked 282, he's 27 years old, he's never been any higher ranked than 282, he's not a mystery player hiding in the wings.....
He played well today but Jack was more dominant in the first set and just couldn't quite push home his advantage (his fault) and then gave up a bit after he'd lost the first set
I didn't see any of today's match, so I can make no comment on that. But the intensity of JD's match v Prizmic yesterday was unrelenting. I don't think he would have given up a bit after he'd lost the first set, far more likely he was mentally drained as well as physically tired. Provided they remain healthy, I have no doubt that JD and Prizmic will be top 50 for many years.
Shame that he couldn't get the break there, he had a break point at *30-40, got a good return in and then misfired on the next forehand. But he's playing well, some MASSIVE forehand returns.
