Disappointing day although no surprises in a tough draw

Yes I woke early and watched the final set, Jack did well but was clearly struggling in the last few games, shame as I really think he could have won that one. Was quite distressing to watch. Hopefully just cramp and nothing more serious.

still a tough draw for Jamie and Michael though despite those withdrawals but a good event now would take them to 8th and a tight battle for those finals slots. I guess we need Jamie and Michael to overtake Joe and Rajeev into 7th spot to get the three Brits into the tour finals?

A must win match I think with Lammons and Withrow one place above them at No. 9 in the race.

Big match and 500 points from Tokyo would be massive for Jamie and Michael. It will still require a lot of work to get over the line as they need to get 7th as Wolf pointed out, but 500 points will help keep them in the conversation.

Alex de Minaur is 13th in the race and if he wins Tokyo - still in- hell be on the verge of the top 8. Would be pleased to see him make the finals!

First set to Jamie and Michael, but looks like going to a MTB in what is a must win match for both pairs. A lot at stake here!

A final win tomorrow over Hikikata and Purcell would love them within touching distance of Joe and Rajeev. And not too far behind the pairs in 5th and 6th with three big weeks still to come. Its do able but a win tomorrow is important !
