Jamie and Mike win 10-6 in the MTB. At least Dick Turpin wore a mask.

Back to the main stuff and Andy is a break down 1-4 moaning away to the umpire on the change of ends. All about the distance of the towel box to the court. He says the match will take 10 hours at this ratewell it is you playing Andy

I like it when he moans and groans usually means he finds inspiration and hits the ball harder. We shall see.

Break down 2-1 now final set, not looking likely for any Murray miracles. Seems to have chucked it a bit lots of drop shots now

Murray finds it hard to string consecutive wins now at this level.

Thats a real blow. Im not sure how Andy turns this around and it must be hard to keep on giving so much and getting so little. Hard to see how he wont make next season his final one, maybe get to the US Open and call it a day?

Its weird because he looks as fit as he has done in years and some of the shots are still there. I wonder if its just a case of the game changing in the last 4 or 5 years and his style doesnt fit. He always seems to just about get there then fall short. The key game was the one with all the BPs in the second set, 15 minute game. I reckon he breaks back there hed have won.

It's just not there consistently enough to truly threaten. I'd say that it's very much more about Andy regressing enough compared to what he was rather than the game in general changing and leaving him behind.

Got to admire him so much all the same.

The teams ranked 6-11 in the live race plus the 13th placed pair are the 7 teams still left in this week with Lammons/Withrow overtaking Jamie & Mike moving into 8th as they are already in the final in Vienna. None of the teams can move into top 7 this week.

those semis in basle and Vienna are stacked and make for some big matches in the race. Big day in doubles.
