Week 43 - ATP Challenger 50 - Ortisei, Italy (indoor hard)

I think Billy's ultimate aim is to get noticed for a main draw wildcard for Wimbledon, which will secure his finances for the season.
With 5 in the top 100 likely to get in direct. Ryan, Jan are ahead of him and Kyle are Arthur the other candidates at the moment - so a great chance.

Well, the women regularly get around that amount 4-6. So I see no reason all of these wouldn't! Although I feel Kyle needs a good burst of injury free play and progression to be on the list. I'd also hope George Loffhagen (if injury free and progressing) would also be in with a shot.

A lot to happen before June. Jake Fearnley is coming through, Paul Jubb could climb back up, could Ali Gray come back, Jay could make a resurgence. I would say 8-9 months out, making lists is a fool's game!

... and yet everyone is encouraged to guess the year-end rankings a full year in advance.

Worryingly , Tennis Abstract now makes Billy tournament favourite

www.tennisabstract.com/current/2023OrtiseiChallenger.html

Not sure if that aligns with the bookies?

QF:  (Q) Daniil Glinka (EST) WR 548 (= CH) vs Billy Harris WR 249

What looks like another good chance for Billy to progress.
