Im sure a lot of it is linked to the investment in tournaments from the top down; the tour finals and next gen finals helped create interest, but the abundance of challenger and ItF events has created opportunity at a local and cost effective level for more players to compete and gain ranking points.
Italy take the title and deservedly so, Sinner carried it for them, great week for him.
I thought this was a great week of tennis, tbh. Id still go back to the old format and home and away, but if its always like this in the future, it was more interesting to me than most other weeks this season - best week outside the slams, and maybe the Tour Finals.
