Really good to see from the doubles lads. For me always good to see Marcus out there and winning and for Jay that's now a 4th final in a row and 15th successive doubles win, following his 3 Turkey M25 and M15 titles in November and December.
As Bob said early in the thread, memories of Wimbledon 2017 and the pair's run to R3/L16. Must already be a fair chance of seeing them together again at Wimbledon 2024.
Unless Mr Clarke gets a better offer?
Harsh (but not unfair )
I assume it's to do with the fact that Mr Clarke, who was all set to renew his partnership with Harriet Dart, with whom he'd enjoyed a pretty decent run at Wimbledon in the mixed in 2018, inexplicably dumped her for Coco Gauff in 2019 (& didn't do nearly as well!), thereby earning himself a considerable number of black marks. I don't think he's been entirely forgiven. The episode has certainly not been forgotten.

I was going to post the same thing but thought it looked a bit petty, relieved to see I wasn't alone in that thought. Would be quite funny if Marcus said No thanks.
Also it wasn't so much that he dumped her, it was that he dumped her so late she couldn't find an alternative partner.
