Thanks Indy - just catching up on this. strikes me Marcus is quietly having his best season, top 100 doubles cant be far away now. Like to see him getting into the summer grass ATP events possibly, maybe it will be the 3 grass challengers?

Just looking across the first 17 weeks (1/3rd of the season), here are the tournie wins leaders based on Indy fabulous updates:

5 titles - Jay Clarke (4 doubles and 1 singles)

4 titles - Marcus Willis, Luke Hooper, Conor Brady, Sarah Copley, Giles Hussey

3 titles - David Stevenson, Daniela Piani, Liv Nicholls, James Davis, Flora Johnson, Mimi Xu (incl junior nationals)

2 titles - Jake Fearnley, Kyle Edmund, George Houghton, Ella McDonald, Luke Johnson, Mika Stojsavljevic, Hollie Smart, Lily Miyazaki, Holly Hutchinson, Emily Appleton, Freya Christie, Mark Ceban, Louis Hull, Elizabeth Evans, Tegan Bush, Oli Bonding, Brooke Black, Henry Patten, Ben Jones, Rhys Lawlor, Tia Bonita Jakupovic-Kljaka

It is possible I have added up incorrectly or missed someone out! Junior nationals titles are included (hence Rhys being on 2, Mimi, Oli etc)

Those titles for Jay and Marcus took them to 6 and 5 respectively.

Jay - winning loads but feels like he needs to up the level he plays at, surely he should be in challengers?

Marcus - surely the top 100 cant be far off for big Marcus? Actually, is he still a comfortable size or has he taken off any of the extra he had a couple of years back?

I am seeing the name Eric Lorimer coming up, number 1 ranking in one of the European tables. Does anyone know anything about Eric? Seems to play doubles with Niall?

Marcus is quite active on Twitter/X so you can see pictures and videos.

I'd say the answers are 'no' and 'yes' which is good.

Good to see him winning consistently.

Marcus is live ranked for 20/05 #116 on 741 points with then nothing to defend until 05/08.

The current WR 100 is on 839 points. So real potential to at least get a fair bit closer to the top 100 during the grass season if he is given opportunities and then can take advantage of them.

B 2010 - plays for Devon. Currently GB U14 no. 1. Plays a lot of Tennis-Europe junior events. Doesn't seem to have an ITF junior ranking. CD or David C (perhaps both) mentioned him a few months back.
