Exeter Grade 2

SFs:

Charlotte Russell v Sophia Kovacheva

Sofia Aquilina v Scarlette Hetherington

Harri Lloyd-Evans v Otto Friedlein

Rhys Lawlor v  Vassili Psaltopoulos

In the Scottish Open event which started yesterday, the top four seeds with a BYE are:

Hep, Francesca Simpson, Mia Wainwright and Flora Johnson

For some reason there's no 5th seed, but Marelie Raath is there as 6th seed, and Amelie Brooks as 7th

In the men, there's Ewen Lumsden, Euan Macintosh, Ewan Moore - it's a real fest of Ewans (with spelling variations)

As well as a Callum and a Cameron

And a Findlay, a Finlay and a Finn (what is it with Scots not being able to decide how to spell things? )

(and a James)

I do like it when the Scottish championships show some 'true' Scottish colours !

Surprised Marelie Raath isn't at an American college, she'd have been a blue chip recruit with her highest junior ranking. Unless she is planning to start in January...

Has 2 older brothers, think both still at Stirling Uni. The older one could probably have gone the college tennis route but didnt.

Wouldn't Marelie be next year's intake? She only did her GCSEs last year.

Oh. Her ITF profile says she is already 18 so I assumed this would be her year.
