And silly me, this is an ITF not a Challenger, so these points won't go on until the following week.  As things stand, he will need a SF or better to regain that top 500 spot after dropping out for 1 week.

Ali has a further 16 to drop off in late Feb and then a total of 17 (16+1) in April.  Other than that, he is clear through until November.  So a real chance to establish himself and push on to where he needs to be.
