No one predicted Jake Fearnley or Charlie Broom and they currently lead the way.

Of the top 4, Billy and Jack are both in Queens event this week. Jack will expect one win and could go deeper Billy could well give Etchevery a good match and get a win, let's see!

Charlie Broom is at Ilkley and has Kukushkin, Billy has beaten him twice recently but it is a tough ask for Charlie

Not sure Jake is playing anywhere, which is a shame, he will obviously no longer be in wild card play offs and surely will have a chance of a Wimbledon MD WC now? If he does, presumably we will see him pop up in Eastbourne?

End of day 16 of 43 wins today

No British entries in Newport RI and dont anticipate anyone going over for qualies so taking it out of the equation in terms

of days and weeks of play

Peniston, Fearnley and Jubb are on the Main Draw Alts List for Newport (nos 42, 53 and 57 respectively so someone might still pop up?

I know, bizarre that I noticed this but I just wondered if Fearnley, in particular might turn up there so looked his schedule up.

ah, ok - the published list on Darts didnt go down that far, guess you have to dig a bit deeper! Let's see then!! And I realise you are a Jubb voter, so have a vested interest!!!

I guess they could all be in qualies when that field is released, so will reinstate it anyway!

I would have gone for Charles Broom if there had been post Wimbledon ITFs. Without these, I go for Arthur Fery.

Reckon I'll just stay with Charles then   Super form from him.

Although there are a few (3 - Aidan, Ben, Harry) with a win on grass this season playing in the play offs, none of them are close enough to get near our 4 leaders. The leadership action will all be in Queens and Ilkley.

At this time last year, 14 players had achieved a win, 17 so far this year. The high player was Andy, who had amassed 10 wins, so someway above the top this year. However, our 51 wins this year is some way ahead of 37 last year; so overall a big improvement for the men. Looking at the numbers, the mens and womens outcomes have turned around pretty much from last year (men from 37 to 51, women from 57 to 39). Over two years of play, the women lead the men, 96 to 88 wins.
