Just three hours and it is Draper time !

I saw a bbc piece today and hadnt realised Jack is right handed in everything he does and started playing tennis as a right handed but at some stage swapped to left hand for tennis! Haha.

Id just assumed he was left handed, to switch hands like that seems so odd but it probably explains in part his excellent bh.

It worked pretty well for Rafa !

 Really, I didnt know that!

Jack's lost his first set of the tournament and he's up against it here.

Yes, he was SO p*ssed with himself for that break right at the end

Laughably poor analysis of the Sinner wrist injury.

*Obviously* it was his fall which was the culprit. Quite why the Sky summariser was wittering about the speed of the release on the forehand being a contributory factor for a non-dominant hand wrist injury is just ludicrous.

Bah. I think the phrase is "he'll do well to win from here"!

When Jack trooped off the court at the end of the tie break he looked like a beaten man.

Let's hope appearances are deceptive.

This is a darn good effort from Jack though. Real tussle although the winner is pretty certain, Id say.

Yes, real pity that having hung in well against the general tide in each set, they've got away at the end

Ah well, it was nice while it lasted:

SF:  (1) Jannik Sinner (ITA) WR 1 defeated (25) Jack Draper WR 25 by 7-5 7-6(3) 6-2

The fact that he threw up on court at least twice (second set) is a bit worrying.

Hes done that before (throwing up at the AO - put it down to emotional stress and I can see that!)

Great effort - top 20; now get rested and get back to Manchester and help us in the DC!
