Some luck for Henry. Hope he can take advantage.

Sadly, he couldn't:

L32:  (LL) Strong Kirchheimer (USA) WR 618 defeated Henry Searle WR 512 by 6-3 3-6 6-2  bleh

L32:  (Q) Patrick Brady WR 898 defeated (WC) Santiago Ledesma (MEX) UNR by 2 & 1

*****

L16:  (LL) Strong Kirchheimer (USA) WR 618 vs (Q) Patrick Brady WR 898

Let's hope Patrick can do the business a second time.

Lets hope so but Kirchheimer seems to be growing stronger by the round.

Lol, yes Strong was too strong...

Several first round defeats recently for Henry, hopefully he is learning from them and not getting despondent....

And Patrick does indeed do the business for a second time at this tournament - after being broken when he was serving for it at 5-4 & coming back from 0-40 in that game:

L16:  (Q) Patrick Brady WR 898 defeated (LL) Strong Kirchheimer (USA) WR 618 by 4-6 6-1 7-5  biggrin
