Yes, 47 entries + AsYouWere and Mr Average - a good total to see and the highest entry by some way in the five years I've been running this.
All entries are now in my spreadsheet so I will be checking it all later today and publishing the starting chart.
I must say optimism is still high this year with only 3 people predicting a drop, and the average is a rise of 229 places for our top 10.
Approximate timing for the updates - I may do a few in between if there is sufficient movement in the rankings
End Jan - after Australian Open
End Feb - before the US swing
Early April - after the US swing, including Charleston
Early June - after Roland Garros and the clay season
Mid July - after Wimbledon - substitute window opens
End July - update with substitutes
Mid September - after US Open
Mid-November - after WTA and ATP finals. This may well be the closing date this year, rather than the end of the WTA indoor season.

Well our total combined top 10 rankings rose about 400 last year so 2024 was a year to be very optimistic.as we generally were
Admittedly we weren't in a great place at the end of 2023 and it will be tougher to really push on now from a top 10 total of around 1600. Getting in a much higher ranked #10 would be a great help in that regard ( though the ever optimistic CD has a worse ranked predicted GB #10 at 415! ) Hopefully more like inside the top 300 or at least much closer to it.
Hopefully all our players stay fit and well ( odds against ) Injuries can be the big thing to pull some players lower and it's not really possible to factor unpredictable ones into predictions so folk can end up with a hit on one or two.players ( eg. Kate S and Jodie last year ). Unfortunately Katie S is a more predictable "beware" this year.
