Ive really not followed too much, busy work week and other stuff taken my board time focus but Henry did well- is he deserving of a nomination, those who followed more closely?
I read that post quickly as you'd been taken up with 'band time focus'
You don't have a little boy band interest going as a sideline, do you, Jon?
Sussed me out - my years on X Factor led me to a very lucrative career with a well known boy band whos name I will keep very secret for now.
haha - apart from being tone deaf and having too left feet and looking like a typical middle aged chap - a boy band career would be right up my street!
1 Alastair Gray - two back to back M25 singles titles as he wins 10 straight singles matches and willre enter the top 500 and then some (and a doubles runners-up place) - so good to see him back
2 Luke Johnson - for winning the title in Hong Kong with Sander Arends (a second straight title) which will likely give him a new career high ranking.
3 Henry Searle - reached his first ever Challenger final after a cracking week in Loughborough and enters the top 500 at 401.
Halfway ish in the January month, 2 1/2 weeks out of 5. All are familiar now , I believe, but to remind ANYONE can nominate. Just add a player to the list above by quoting the post, adding a name and a reason and tidying up around the edges, and repost a new list with your nomination!

Into the second half of month one now, action hotting up in Melbourne, a couple of titles being won this week in junior doubles and wheelchair - remember, if you feel anyone does something deserving of a place in January Player of the Month, get them on the list above and tell us why!!
With week 2 of the AO, some domestic ITF events, and plenty of other action, next week could be one where we see one or two players get themselves on here

4. Jack Draper - came into the Aus Open having had an injury issue and lacking match play, won his first 3 rounds in 5 sets, having been 2 sets to 1 down in each and facing Aus players ( and crowds! ) in R2 & R3, playing better with each round. Attitude, commitment! ( to be continued )
