Big call when Henry was convinced there was a double bounce when he was serving for the match. Lost his head a bit. He needs to regroup.

SF:  (WC) Henry Searle WR 513 defeated Mika Brunold (SUI) WR 387 by 6-2 6-7(4) 7-6(4)  biggrin  (two hours & 28 minutes!)

He served for it at 5-4 & led by mini-breaks in the first tie-break...

401 in the live rankings and a win will take him inside the top 350.
Plus he should get a Wimbledon MDWC as junior champion.

Couldn't watch the third set

But super excited that he won - that must have taken some strong nerves

Pleased to have Henry in my top-10

(Mind you, Arthur is still AWOL so maybe not looking quite as good as all that )

Oh, Anton. A bit of the old Anton there - he didn't play the big points well and made too many mistakes from overhitting. That said, progress is progress and this is a great week for him.

Vamos Henry, great to see him dig that win out as all the momentum was with Mika. He really stamped his authority in that final set tie-break. His support crew seem loud and lively too! :)
