Very good day with 4 wins out of 6, and the 2 women's singles defeats were pretty worthy underdog efforts.

No one is ever sure why! Thanks for entering, thats 22 now.

Speak for yourself, Jon

Some of us do look at the players, look at their form and their draws and try best to estimate the final total. A bit deluded maybe but just saying ...

4 + 5 + 11+ 1 + 4 = 25 !

Hi Indy - well, that is 4 mens singles wins now, tick. Womens singles are on 4 now, so one more and youve got your 5 there as well, tick. Looking good?! Although, hope those wins don't stick at those levels, obviously!

I've underdone the women's doubles since we have 1 ( from Maia ) plus a guaranteed 2nd from Harriet+ vs Heather+ Probably really should have gone 2 for that on the thought that at least one of the others would eek out a win.

Tend to think I may have underdone the mixed doubles too having seen the draw. So I'm looking for my men's doubles to go a bit awry

Seriously, the higher predictions are looking good - just now ...

We know from experience that it can unravel very quickly! Mens doubles is hard to predict, I feel. Lots of potential but not sure all of them are in top form, and the opposition are lots of relatively new pairs so that it is hard to tell what they will come up against.

On the Thursday schedule, as well as 2 women's singles R2 matches we will have 9 ( part or full ) British doubles pairs involved in 8 doubles matches ( Heather+ play Harriet+ ).

So a total of 10 matches to look out for.

At 14 wins and Harriet Vs Heather to come, we are closing in on those predicting 16 wins

Closing in on everyone! Very tight prediction range this time of 16/26, usually a lot more spread out. Great start to this event

As Blue Belle says, ground being eaten up quickly on the lower end predictions - the tide could even sweep over the lower end of the table later on today.
