Fab win for Gordon 10-6 in the final set TB!

That's a tight one, but well done - Gerard is an old trooper and always hard to beat.

Ben Bartram lost to Oda as expected, but played well it seems.

So, just Alfie and Gordon into the last 8, last 8 draw is:

Oda (1) v Spaargaren

Fernandez (4) v Reid

Ratzlaff v del a Puente (3)

Ji v Hewett (2)

Women's singles rd1 being played currently

Cornelia went down to Montjane in straight sets.

Tomorrow, its the quad singles last 8 with Andy and Greg playing; and then Alfie/Gordon, Ben/Dahnon and Lucy+ and Cornelia+ play in mens and womens doubles, respectively.

Great win for Greg Slade in the quad singles as he beats WR 6 Cayulef in 3 sets!

Into the semis and building on his good results earlier in the season - well done Greg!!

Ben and Dahnon lost their mens doubles QF match.

Leaves Alfie and Gordon to fly the flag in the semis of the mens. Andy + and Greg + are in the quad semis (4 pair draw) and Lucy + and Cornelia+ go later in womens doubles.

Andy Lapthorne lost in 3 sets in the quad qf.

In singles it leaves British interest as:

Mens - quarter finals- Alfie (2) versus Ji (WR 13); Gordon versus Fernandez (4)

Quad - semifinal - Greg versus Schroder (2).

Star of the day today was Frenchwoman Ksenia Chasteau. Unseeded, she beat the second seed in singles opening round and doubles top seeds in the doubles opener.

Almost unheard of to get big upsets like that and twice by the same person in a day.

In womens doubles play, Lucy and De Groot won through the semis: Cornelia sadly lost in three sets.

The doubles semis therefore include:

Mens - Alfie and Gordon
Womens - Lucy and De Groot
Quad - Andy and Cayulef, Greg and Ramphadi.

Alfie comfortably won his last 8 match and progresses to the semis where he will play de la Puente

Gordon lost against Fernandez in 2 sets and Fernandez plays Oda in the other semi.

The big 4 have basically made it through with ease.

Andy L.+ went down easily, 1 and 2, in their quad doubles semi. Andy hasnt had a good Wimbledon, sadly. Not sure if he got injured before Roehampton and hasnt quite been fit.

Greg+ is now on court in his QD Semi, Alfie and Gordon play theirs later, in the mens doubles.

Just Alfie and Greg left in singles now, Alfie/Gordon and Greg+ in doubles

What a Wimbledon Greg Slade is having, he follows up his singles win yesterday with a great doubles win with Donald Ramphadi over second seeds Kaplan and Schroder.

Wonderful! Into the final versus Vink and Sasson, the top seeds.

Keep going, Greg!
