ITF Wheelchair Tour 2025

Good start in the wheelchair doubles - Lucy in the womens is a set up; the top seeds, Van Koot and Tanaka are also a set down to De Groot and Zhu - that was a terrible draw for the top seeds against the most dangerous floaters. De Groot pushing hard to get back to the top of the rankings.

And Lucy and partner get the win.

Into the semis, where they play the second seeds.

Top seeds did lose in round one.

Quad doubles now in play- Andy+ lost the first set surprisingly, whilst Greg+ won the opening set, also surprisingly.

Wheelchair play so far going the way of the main draws with surprises happening early doors

Congrats to Greg and Jin, an excellent win at 10-7 in the match tie break!

They play top seeds Sasson and Vink in the semis.

Sadly, Andy and Wagner lost their match 12-10 in the MTB, so a shock loss for them.

Alfie and Gordon in action now and lead by a set, 6-0

In the mens doubles, the second seeds de la Puente and Spaargaren (who won Wimbledon) lost to Oda and Fernandez in round one - tbf, hardly a suprise, that is the world numbers one and three in that pairing!!

Alfie and Gordon's semis opponents will be Houdet and Miki.

Andy wins his opener 6-2 6-3, decent win over a fellow top tenner. Into the last 8

Andy plays Jin Woodman, next. Woodman beat 4th seeded Kaplan in round one. Great chance for semis between two unseeded players.

Excellent- Greg Slade wins 7-6 final set over close rival Leandro Pena. Wonderful result for Greg, he lost to Pena last time they played.

Lucy went down in straight sets. But no surprise as De Groot is returning to her best.
