Well done to Billy on being the only survivor - 4 out of 8 overall, probably less than we hoped but probably stacks up as ok versus historic slam performances?

Historically probably looks at least decent. In the here and now, with these draws, disappointing.
Billy needs a good run here. If he is going to make the Top 100, I think he probably has to do it before all his grass court points drop off in June/July.

FQR: (q14) Kamil Majchrzak (POL) WR 117 vs (q19) Billy Harris WR 126
Billy has now made the FQR in all 4 Grand Slams - he lost in the previous 3!
Never saw Billy as top 100 .. and he's not there yet by any means, but I'm hoping that 2025 is his year
To be fair, neither did I, and I have been probably his biggest fan. I would hate his career to be defined as someone who got to WR 101 but never cracked that Top 100.

Majchrzak has had a bit of a chequered career. As I noted on the thread for the first M15 in Monastir in January last year, Wiki reported as follows:
On 9 December 2022, the International Tennis Integrity Agency announced that Majchrzak has been provisionally suspended after testing positive for banned substances at the Sofia Open, the Japan Open and the Seoul Challenger. In June 2023, the agency suspended Majchrzak for 13 months, while acknowledging that Majchrzak had not "knowingly or intentionally" committed an offense.
His suspension ended on 29th December 2023. He got into the Monastir qualies on a wild card & beat a fellow qualifier by 0 & 0 in the first round. He then proceeded to take the title there without dropping a set, winning a total of eight by 6-0! He won two more matches in the following week's event before losing in the QF, the longest unbeaten run of his career. He has a career high in singles of 75 from 28th February 2022. The match will be no cakewalk for Billy.
