Harriet and Heather are first up on their courts, with Harriet on the biggest qualifying court, the Kia arena. It might seem like a small thing to say, but the heat in Melbourne is always a massive problem for our players and being first up may be preferable to second or third on court, when it will probably be scorching, so both of our players got a bit lucky with that.
Harriet potentially could face two Aussies in a row as if she wins her first match, as home advantage probably makes Taylah Preston favourite against Mona Barthel, who is 34 now and well past her best.
I'm less confident than others about how we will do, simply because of the heat out there. Anyone who has visited Australia at this time of year will know what I mean, but hopefully we will get at least 2 out of 4 beyond the first round.
