if you vote, please tell us and why - dont need to write as much as Lambda! But seriously, it draws people to the thread and maybe provides support for the player youve voted for!

Its conceivable we end with a tie for player of the season. As per the POM votes, I dont intend to break any tie. Itll just end that way and both or all players will share the title.

So if you dont want to see a tie - half the PoM votes have been tied this year - then make sure you vote for the player you want to be player of the season by 9.15pm tomorrow evening, Sunday

About half way now in the vote time wise. 40 votes - hope we reach 50 by the end. Would like to make 55, would LOVE to make 60 but not really expecting it!

Could be a slow weekend! If you vote, let us know! Im hoping we dont stick at 40 ish, that would be a major disappointment.! If you dont normally vote in these things, why not give it a go; the players deserve your support!

Personally I think it would be great to have a PoS run-off in the event of a tie.

I particularly like how in the final thread there has been more giving reasons for choices and advocacy for selections than I recall before, particularly with the current 2 front runners..

And I'd be very interested to see everyone ( including early voters here ) get a chance to go through it all and make a final selection for one PoS ( and I think one is best anyway ).

Many will be very definite in their vote, maybe some will be swayed to change. And of course the voters of knocked out players would have a new choice to make.

Anyway, just my thoughts, and it probably won't end in a tie.

Well you know me, Indy, Im always very malleable ! Lets see how I feel about it closer to the time it ends tomorrow. For now, Id like to see a few more votes come in as its dried up a little ! But my intent can change! It usually does, as you know!

In fact, why not - I was just thinking time and peoples ongoing interest in terms of dragging it out, but it is better to not have a tie I agree. And maybe Ill do tie breakers in the PoM votes as well if people prefer not to have a tie. Other opinions welcome. Ill take a final decision tomorrow and, as Indy says, it may not be needed.

I had a suspicion that Henry was the 4th placed but he is the only GS Champion on the list and it was a bit unexpected so he gets my vote.
I'm still bitter about Billy last year tbh.

I see Billy came third last year. And I can see Emmsie commenting on him being a revelation, which he was. Sort of the role Jake and maybe Sonay have played this year?

I also see Katie was runner up last year and almost won, losing by two votes in a nip and tuck finish.

Maybe she will upgrade this year.
