In previous rounds I have voted for Henry, Jake and Sonay all of whom delighted me in 2024, but the more I consider the final 4 the more I find myself drawn to Katie. I have followed her ever since I learnt from Steven how easy it was to follow tennis all year round on the internet, which must have been getting on for 10 years ago. Katie clearly had lots of potential as a teenager but I don't think the LTA guided her as well as they might so it's taken her much longer to reach her prime than it should have. I feel that meeting Alex transformed her career and gave her the freedom to play her game and the belief that she was good enough to mix with the best. She gets my vote for having such a successful year after so many years of trying. The others have many more years to come and surely will have another crack at POS in the future.
24 hours left now, hopefully some more votes to come tomorrow. Remember, this is our player of the season final for this forum, dont let it dwindle away and be a damp squib!
Hopefully there will be a few more votes though clearly most will be done and dusted, encouraged to get in there and vote by yourself. Though often one or two I think choose to sit back, observe and vote late if uncertain in their choice.
Whatever, it sure won't be a damp squid my gawd, it will be another excellent final vote, which was very hard to predict, between four players who have had great seasons, and thanks go to you for all the organisation, culminating in us seeing tomorrow's forum verdict.

Well fair comment, I think I was just hoping we would reach more than the earlier round one votes, and perhaps get to 60 and was disappointed we had just a vote or two all day!
Anyway, it is competitive and youre right - Im probably still smarting at the injustice served to Harrogate by Leeds! (Im kidding, we were outclassed but put up a fighting defensive display and did Town proud!)
We enter the final day on 46 votes. Remember, the vote ends today at 9.15pm and we will crown a Player of the Season. Dont forget to get your vote in if youd like a say in who that should be!
