British Tour 2025

There's a Cat 2 British Tour event going on at Nottingham at the same time as the W35 and men's events

And another next week to conincide with the Nottingham II

Ciara Moore had to retire in her QF, having not won a game, at 0-6 0-1, so hope she's OK

Women's SFs:

Georgiana Mititelu v Aimee Knowles

Tia Jakupovic-Kljako v Mia Wainwright

Men's SFs:

Ewen Lumsden v Robert Leck
Joseph Newman-Billington v Nathan Mansfield

The British Tour Nottingham II G2 event is taking place

Womens SFs:

Isabella Britton v Sophie Christodoulou

Georgiana Mititelu v Jessica Gunter

Men's SFs:

Jamie Crowfoot v Jay Johnson-Hauldren

Louis Hull v Samuel Constantinou

As usual, the 'womens' is basically a juniors event, and I know all the players

The mens has two guys I've never heard of in the semis (not to mention a whole host more in the early rounds), even the top seed, and actually has some adults

The North Oxford Grade 2 Tour event starts on Monday

The key point being that it is on grass

The level of entrants is therefore usually a lot higher, with top juniors in particular wanting to get good grass court match practice before the important summer season

Here is the player list, although there are some wild cards to be added.

I have a feeling one or two decent names did appear a couple of years back - I am going to say Ryan Peniston played a couple of rounds before withdrawing at like the last 8 stage - but I may be making that up!!

The link to the event is HERE. Players lists are on other tabs - there are currently 104 men and 84 women entered - so might be best to wait for the list of wild cards and the draws to come out !

Yes, sorry, I mentioned the link in my post and then forgot to actually post it!

Dylan Davies and Kat Barnes are the top seeds in North Oxford; no big names getting early grass court practice.

As above, the big names are more in the juniors field, and has to be those not involved in RG, so it's the best younger juniors who will have wildcards into Junior Wimbly - Hollie Smart, Dani Britton, Rhys etc etc
