Richard Russell who passed away  on 15th January 2025 was a Jamaican tennis player who played in all the Grand Slams in the 1960's and also the Davis Cup. However in the days before all these coaches etc, VIrginia Wade knocked up with him before her 1968 USOpen final  against Billie Jean King.She wrote about it in a magazine previewing Wimbledon 1969  although she does not mention it in her  1977 autobiography.
