Hard to think that just 11 months ago we managed 36 wins at the French Open; up from 13 and 15 in the two years previously, and our FO average over recent years is just 15.6
Hard (impossible?) to see us getting near 36 this season? Or famous last words?!
Given our average is 15.6 and 36 is a real outlier, I am going to set the range for voting for this years FO at something like 10 or less at the low end and 29 or more at the high end. I would imagine we will fall somewhere in that range this year! Anyone feeling last year was the start of something special can go top end and let us know the specific number they choose!
Here is the ranking list at halfway through the 4 slams - Brittak, Canda and goldfish have been equal second and then equal third in both slams, with EP, emmsie and TA winning one each, and several players then chasing.
With 55 points (50 for winning, 5 for being spot on) there are 110 points for maxing out in the remaining two slams and literally anyone can still win this!
For now, Brittak, Canda and goldfish lead the way

DF won the 2025 version and is still in the hunt here, goldfish was 3rd last season and up at the top again. Indy won 2024 and RU in 25 but is finding 2026 a tougher proposition!

I wanted to capture this here from mdewey so I don't lose sight of it

Just a suggestion for next year.
Everyone who enters gets a score computed as the (absolute) difference between their prediction and the true value. At the end of the year just add them up and the smallest wins. Anyone who misses a tournament is awarded a score for that tournament one greater than the maximum score for that tournament.
Advantages: it differentiates between people who in the current system all score zero, everyone who enters benefits, anyone who forgets one slam is penalised but not holed below the waterline.

Spoiler alert - we have a new outright leader but its by the smallest of margins.
And lots of folks getting their first points this season. I calculate 19 voters or so could do well enough in the US Open to take the title.
Goldfish leads, just, and is the only person scoring in all 3 events. Pierrot comes up to 4th. Little boosts for Brendan F and vhughes, and Sliced Backhand comes in.
Anyone down to 18th place can still win this.
