Thanks Lambda. I couldnt work out if she was going the Emma route as obviously she was limited as to how many tournaments she could play when she was still 16. Anyone who studies A Level further maths as a hobby has my respect! So I am thinking she will have some support from the LTA but will have to fund a lot of this activity herself from her winnings?

And, yes, she can now work towards further maths, but a lot of players continue to take their studies very seriously and I always got the impression that mimi was 9ne of those

For her sake I hope she plays qualifying if anything. The Doha field is very strong and she needs matches (again) - assuming she finds which airline lost her serve in transit.
